When to Apply Concealer

What is concealer?

Concealer is a flesh-toned cosmetic used to cover blemished and dark circles under the eyes. Concealers come in a variety of tones to match your skin. Concealers range in price from as little as $2.00 anywhere up to $80.00 - even more. I for one need to use concealer on a daily basis and really do not want to spend $80.00. Difference between foundation and concealer?

You use foundation all over your face to cover slight blemishes and to even out the color in your face. You use concealer to cover more profound blemishes and to cover dark circle under your eyes.

What goes on first, foundation or concealer?

You will find that some people say foundation and some say concealer so there is really no right answer in my opinion. I personally put on a primer then a bit of concealer on my scars and blemishes, then my foundation and if any further concealer is needed I apply some more. This is a personal preference.
